Brent Belsher's career in the arts began when he took a position with Ballet British Columbia as manager of artistic operations in 2000. Prior to his involvement in the arts Brent worked for a Vancouver based travel company leading groups of people to over 35 countries. He has worked as an international meeting planner and also worked in Japan for four years as a cross-cultural trainer and English teacher. Since 2006 he began working as an arts consultant primarily in dance and works with a variety of organizations specializing in management and touring. He has been tour manager for Crystal Pite’s company Kidd Pivot since 2007 and has toured with that company all over the world. In addition he does fundraising for Kidd Pivot. When he founded his company in 2012 he presented companies in Vancouver including The National Ballet of Cuba on their first Western Canadian performances. Then in 2014 Brent began his work as an agent. At first working for the French based agency Le Trait d’Union and in following years adding Canadian artists to the roster as well as other international companies.

Christine Tschida has worked in the field as both a dance presenter as well as an agent. As Director of Northrop at the University of Minnesota, where she spent the last 7 years, she curated their distinguished dance series of large scale ballet and international contemporary dance. Prior to that, she spent 10 years as a dance agent with Rena Shagan Associates in New York. Her additional work in the arts includes producing Garrison Keillor’s A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION for 11 years, general management of international theatrical projects for The Brooklyn Academy of Music and Peter Sellars’ American National Theater at The Kennedy Center. She began her arts management career producing the first national tour by Minneapolis’ Guthrie Theater. In addition to her work with Belsher Arts Management she also works with New York City’s Joyce Theatre on their touring projects.
JASON DUBOIS

Jason Dubois is an arts manager with more than two decades experience working in performing arts creation, dissemination and presentation. Career highlights include working as Festival Manager for the National Arts Centre's Canada Scene, a 39-day festival in the summer of 2017 involving more than 1000 artists in performing, visual and media arts. Jason has previously served as Managing Director for the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival, Producing Director for the Canada Dance Festival, Executive Director of Dance Victoria, and with Eponymous as Producer for Kidd Pivot and Company 605, Associate Producer for Wen Wei Dance, Production Manager for Vancouver New Music, and Director of Patron Relations for DanceHouse. He was Associate Producer for the Dance Centre’s Dance In Vancouver from 2015-2019 – a biennial showcase for Vancouver dance artists and a networking event for Canadian and international dance presenters. Jason has served as a director on the boards of The Greater Vancouver Alliance for Arts and Culture, The Professional Arts Alliance of Greater Victoria, the Canadian Alliance of Dance Artists BC Chapter (CADA/West), and as president of the Canadian Dance Assembly’s National Council.
